Save time on lesson planning and gain more energy for teaching

With ActiveFloor’s verified learning pathways, you get ready-to-use teaching modules with a clear structure and defined roles.

The courses function as complete, game-based learning programs presented as playlists with a high academic standard.
Each playlist includes a series of games, activities, and tasks where students alternate between interactive floor-based games and group work.

CAPTURE STUDENTS’ ATTENTION FROM THE START

Play and movement capture students’ attention far more effectively than traditional, seated classroom instruction.

The learning courses are designed for group-based use, so the entire class can be active at the same time.

While one group works physically with the games on the floor, the other groups complete related tasks from the course — such as mini-workshops, writing assignments, or collaborative exercises.
Everyone works with the same topic, but in different ways — creating both variation and deeper learning.

The topic is introduced through, for example, a presentation game where students interact directly with the content on the floor. They are guided through the subject using texts, audio, short videos, and quizzes.

You save preparation time — and your students stay engaged from start to finish.

working with the topic

After the introduction, students are divided into smaller groups, each working with the topic in different ways.
For example:
– One group works with the games on the floor, practicing what they have learned through quizzes, matching games, conversation games, or similar activities.

– The other groups work in workshops with tasks described in the accompanying teacher guide.

This could include:

  • Small investigative tasks
  • Grammar exercises
  • Writing tasks where students write their own short stories
  • Presentations where students make tasks for each other
  • Short presentations.

Evaluation and Conclusion

The learning path ends with an evaluation or exit ticket in the form of a game, a presentation to the class, or a class discussion.
