ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a sales and business development position focused on growing ActiveFloor in the Northeast USA. The role combines school and district outreach, product demonstrations, reseller development, partner support, and measurable sales responsibility.

Ideal for a teacher, instructional coach, curriculum specialist, school technology professional, or EdTech salesrep profile ready to apply education experience in a more commercial role.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • K-12 education experience or credible EdTech background.
  • Strong presenter who can communicate naturally with educators and school leaders.
  • Relationship-builder who can create trust while driving commercial results.
  • Self-starter able to manage a home-based territory role independently.
  • Comfortable with activity goals, pipeline development, partner growth, and sales targets.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop new K-12 opportunities with schools, districts, and education organizations.
  • Present and demonstrate ActiveFloor solutions to teachers, principals, district leaders, and partners.
  • Follow up on leads, qualify opportunities, build pipeline, and support deals through to sale.
  • Grow and strengthen the regional reseller and partner network.
  • Support existing partners with demos, product knowledge, local market activity, and follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate CRM activity, pipeline, and forecast information.

Requirements

  • Experience in teaching, curriculum, school technology, educational sales, or EdTech.
  • Interest in sales, business development, partner development, and territory growth.
  • Willingness to travel for schools, partners, conferences, demos, and training.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • CRM experience such as Salesforce or HubSpot is an advantage.

COMPENSATION & TRAVEL

Competitive fixed base salary plus performance-based commission and benefits tied to agreed sales targets, reseller development, territory growth, and measurable results.

Approved business travel expenses, including transportation, lodging, and related costs, are covered by ActiveFloor in accordance with company policy.
