About the learning pathway

This learning pathway introduces pupils to the French Revolution and the social conditions that led to the overthrow of the monarchy. Pupils explore key concepts such as inequality, power, and new ideas about freedom and rights.

The learning pathway begins with an interactive presentation in which pupils investigate important events and key figures through text and images.

Afterwards, we recommend playing some (or all) of the games in the playlist, depending on the pupils’ age and level.

The pathway also includes worksheets and ideas for additional activities that help strengthen pupils’ historical understanding.
