About the Learning Pathway

The Learning Pathway begins with a shared introduction, where students explore images and shapes through games and discussion. They learn to recognise symmetry and identify lines of symmetry.

We then recommend playing some or all of the games in the playlist, depending on the students’ age and ability level.

The Learning Pathway also includes worksheets and creative activities, where students draw, build and hunt for symmetry. These activities deepen their understanding and give them the opportunity to create their own symmetrical shapes.
